FAQs

  • What is Not A Run Club?

Glad you asked! NARC is an active social club that runs, flows, and gives back. We’re a collective of like-minded, purpose-driven people who want to do more than just run. We sweat, we flow, and we connect — all while building community and making an impact.

  • Do I need to be a runner or a yogi to join?

Nope — come as you are! Everybody (and every body) is welcome, no matter where you’re at in your fitness journey. NARC is all about movement and community — not the quickest pace or perfect poses.

  • Can I come for just the social, running, and or yoga?

Absolutely! We get it — life’s busy and everyone’s schedule is different. We always start with a social and connection time between 6:00-6:30 pm before we warm up and head out for our run. Yoga usually starts just after 7:00 pm.

  • Will there be someone there to watch my things while I run?

Yes! Though Not A Run Club will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items, we will always have someone keeping an eye on your things to ensure they are safe.

  • Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

Yep! We don’t provide mats, so BYOM (bring your own mat). That said, if you’re down to flow straight on the grass, go for it — nature’s yoga mat is always available.

  • What pace do you run at?

We call it party pace — the kind of pace where you can chat and laugh with the crew around you. We keep things inclusive and offer a mix of paces so everyone feels welcome. Our co-leads are spread throughout the pack to make sure no one runs solo (unless you want to, of course).

  • Where do you meet?

We meet in the heart of Coronation Park in Toronto. You can find us across from the baseball diamonds near the water.

  • Do I have to pay to join?

Nah - Not A Run Club is totally free to join!

We do drop merch from time to time, but all proceeds go straight back into the club or are donated to local charities. So if you snag a hat, you're doing good and looking good.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely — pups are always welcome at NARC! Just keep your furry friend leashed, scoop the poop, and make sure they stick to their downward dogs on the grass (not someone else’s yoga mat) so everyone can zen out in peace.
